She said it smelled like her diarrhea. OH EW. Leave it to Abigail to make all these kind of unexpected remarks. Tsk. Anyway, I'm still contemplating as to whether I should upload the photos I took. Should I? Hmm.
Anyway, I didn't get to see MAE LING D: BOO. And I didnt get to say BYE BYE to Kenn. Our little froggieman. And Rachel Wing. Boo you rain. If you didnt fall down last night, I could've explored more. But seriously I dont get why they called it Evolution Night. I didn't see anything about Charles Darwin or smth. Cept it was on the tee shirt. But who cares anyway, I don't support the evolution theory. It's ridiculous. OH WELL.Did YOU know Skandar Keynes is Charles Darwin's great-great-great grandson or smth. He's descendant la. Skandar's an atheist. And we wonder WHY ;)
And Teng Foong looked happy so I'm kinda glad. He was all depressed last year. He's happier now. HEEEY. He's happier now that I'm gone. That's not a good thing ._. oh well. He's got more friends now. He's meaner now. Hhmpf. As in to others. Not to me. Cos I treat him weell and yeah (:
I went for Wesley's Evo Night. Like seriously, it's just like Coco Night. No difference. ZZ. I shall blog about being lost in the city but not now. I feel lazee. So deal withit. >:)
But I'm so happy we were able to take a few photos.
FINALLY AFTER MONTHS AND MONTHS OF PRACTICE, we finally learnt how to coorperate. Excluding the part where Abbie kept barging in on us. Especially when I was having duo shots and she and the others ruined it. GRR. It was SO hard to take group photos back then, now it's hard to take photos with just ONE person without gettng the photo screwed up by some random hand or a moving face or..gaah.
What's irritating was that I wasn't able to see everybody. In the morning, I was like see you later. Yeah I'm coming for evo night. But like, when I came, I couldnt see the people I promised to see. WTH. eesh. Everybody was scattered and I was like sweaty AND wet all over. It was raining and it was crowded. Thus the water and sweat. We were all crammed into the corridors and the canteen was like blasting music. Didn't they sing 21 Guns last year? Hmm. And Baby by Justin Bieber but with drums and etc this time. LOL.
LIDRA was the best I think. I only came at six. Missed Matthew's speech. Wonder how she carried out her speech since it was raining o_o and anyway, I made it for the SHAKESPEAR and the KARAK HIGHWAY. Shakespear was just lame thus I didn't enjoy it at all. Yes, I'm a little critic at times. >:) KARAK HIGHWAY was best of the best. Han Wei was awesome,as usual, our little actor. From the good script to the interesting storyline to the little details we all do like wiping the edges of the teh tarik cups. Splendid. HEEEY. Not bad. I summarized all into one cool sentence. KEWUL.[cool] random spelling. zz.

We live in a world that expects us to learn the basics, nothing more. We live in a culture that expects us to get by, like potty train or tie shoelaces, etc, but not thrive.
Question: Have you reached your limits or are you just merely at a point where our world's expectations no longer demand that you succeed?
Am I unable to do certain things or am I just unwilling to sacrifice the time and effort needed to succeed?
By labelling ourselves as "not a people kind of person" or "not a math person" or "im just a dumb blonde", we're blocking ourselves from flying higher. We're imprisoning and giving ourselves reasons to not succeed.
When we were young and while we were potty training, we didn't say " I can't. I'm just not a toilet person". No. No matter how hard it was, we still managed to get through. But as the years get more recent, the world gives excuses for not being able to accomplish things, excuses for not even trying to do things that we THINK is hard. Break free from the stereotypical mould the world has set for us. No. It's pathetic, we teens aren't just rebellious, emotional and lethargic kids. No. That's just the conclusion these people get from observing psycho/mental teenage kids! Seriously.
We shouldn't compare ourselves with our peers. Our standards will eventually sink lower and lower while our pride goes higher and higher.
C.S Lewis once said : " We're like eggs at present. You can't go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. It's either you hatch, or you go bad/rotten."
I gotta stop comparing myself to others, go after God and do hard things.
Hmm..now that alone is hard enough. D:
The fact is that as we get older we begin defining our limitations as what comes easily to us –
and our rate of growth in competence and character slows and falters.
When we were children our limitations were not defined by difficulty. Our limitations were not
defined by failure – even repeated failure. So what has changed? Why do babies, with inferior
motor skills, reasoning ability, and general physical and mental strength, why do they have a
nearly 100% success rate in overcoming their big challenges, while teenagers often falter and fail
before theirs?
Fun is a break from the “hard things” that we spend the majority of our time doing. Did you catch that? We view fun as a break from hard things. We have fun after we feel that we have accomplished something significant. Our culture, on the other hand, tells us that we should have fun first and do hard things only “when we have to.” Do you see the difference? It’s all about priorities. We will always prioritize that which is most important to us. A rebelutionary will place “fun” in its proper place, understanding that responsibility to God and others comes first. Our culture spreads the lie that our pleasure, our enjoyment, and our fun is first priority. Our culture acts like it’s giving us something by allowing and encouraging us to just have fun — but the truth is that when all we care about is “having fun” we’re being robbed. Robbed of contentment in the future, robbed of effectiveness for God, robbed of competence, robbed of character, maybe even robbed of the spouse we’ve always wanted, because we weren’t prepared for them and didn’t deserve them.A rebelutionary recognizes that what is most valuable isn’t always the most fun. A rebelutionary puts first things first, and second things (like fun) second.
Before I can trust God to heal my asthma or my sister or my grandma's kidney problems, I have to trust God to heal my common flu or fever or even when I've got a bruise.
So AM I WILLING TO LIVE FOR CHRIST?
